The organization IPAF (Interantional Powered Access Federation) promotes the safe and effective use of height access technology worldwide. IPAF was founded in 1983 and has represented the interests of aerial platform manufacturers, rental companies and users ever since. The "not-for-profit" organization plays a key role in promoting numerous manufacturing, safety and testing procedures that have now become the standard in the aerial platform industry.
