Since wind impairs work with aerial work platforms, platforms approved for outdoor use can usually be used at wind speeds of up to a maximum of 12,5m/s = 45km/h. Uses beyond this are not regarded as intended use. It is the operator's responsibility to check the maximum wind speed on the machine nameplate or in the manufacturer's operating instructions. The wind speed should definitely be measured in the basket/on the platform at working height. A wind speed measuring device (anemometer) must be used for this, which is available from us as safety equipment.
